St. Barth lovers - 8-prints
Combining originality and collaboration, Rocca Art worked together with local St. Barths photographer, Hugo Allard, to create a unique 8-piece series of works. Azzurro is now exclusively available.
Tropical acrylic beauty
This painting was commissioned by German art collector, Rainer Kober, who to decorate his new 'Gesundheitshaus' ("health house") purchased a Rocca Art original commission.

Azzurro Exposition
Hosted at theVilla Marie hotel, we organized our first exposition of the Azzurro painting-photography collection. Discover our evening full of art, italian food, and how Azzurro seeks to inspire the islanders on the unique territory, by Rowena Caanen and Hugo Allard.

One of the first Rocca artworks, this piece is truly a staple of the brand. What's its story? Rowena loved local pearl necklaces, handcrafted with Tahitian pearls and rolled leather by BIJOUX DE LA MER. This love became the theme of the name. However, it is the great selection of Flora and Fauna in the painting - with hibiscus flowers, frangipani, paradise flowers and local plants - that truly makes it stand out. Let yourself be invited in by the colors and shop it as a limited edition print! - Natural ConnectionShowing one of the local 'natural pools' of the island, this painting was commissioned by two New York buyers. Its rocks, painted with much detail, combine flora and fauna in a beautiful equilibrium. It makes a beautiful print for any home. Size 24 x 35 cm.

The artwork was created specifically to be hung in the new "health house" of the town Steinwiesen in Germany. This will be a place where the local and outside community can organize wellness retreats and meetings (such as Yoga, Tai-chi). The inspiration for the painting came to connect human well-being and that of the natural world, using flowers, animals and an ocean view for human and nature 'gesundheit'.

This small piece shows St. Jean bay with two beautiful villas perched on top of the hill, infinity pool, and the typical small plane landing at the airport nearby. - Bungalows of St. BarthsThis painting invites viewers to celebrate the local heritage of St. Barths. These 20 years old bungalows are perched on top of a beautiful hill overlooking Flamands beach. Managed by the same couple, the painting is an homage to a photograph taken 20 years ago when they were just constructed. Fun fact: Rowena (Rocca Art ) first started painting here in this house!
- Copy of Les Cazes de Saint Barth ©Antoine Heckly is a famous artist on the island, and therefore a great inspiration to have some painting practice. This work shows the little Caze de St. Barth, the old style houses of the island that has been welcoming visitors and tourists alike for many years. All copyright goes to Antoine Heckly.

Azzurro Series
Azzurro is an 8-piece original artwork created by painter Rowena Caanen and photographer Hugo Allard of the island they love; Saint Barthélemy. Each artwork in the series presents a unique vision through the photographic lens and evolves through acrylic paintings made directly on the photographs of the flora and fauna .
